Two Swedes

Every where we went today these two old Swedes were following Birdie and me....Hmmmmmm.. Well, the two Norskie Princesses decided to give them some attention and they brought us to a wonderful place called Altona Vin Bar for dinner. What a treat!! (the dinner that is)
The food has been absolutely wonderful...if we can ignore converting kroners to dollars!! We've had fish (angle fish, Klippt Fiske, and Fjorden pollack) as well as sirloin of ox, reindeer, and tasted smoked whale!

The end of a perfect day!! Chocolate!! Oh, and I should mention the OTHER marvelous dessert! Apple cider ice cream with rhubarb soup and sauce. The restaurant (in our hotel actually) was in a 400 year old cellar. It was amazing!!

Tomorrow it's on to "Norway In a Nutshell" !!! JILL
